PARENT MEETING/REGISTRATION – Thursday September 1, 2016 – 6:30pm in the parish hall

CLASSES – Begin Thursday September 8, 2016 – 6:30pm to 8:00pm in the parish hall

RESTORED ORDER – The Archbishop of Denver, is asking all Parishes to implement “Restored Order.” This year, we will be fully implemented. For more information attend the parent Meeting on September 1st.

 

Classes are Thursday evenings 6:30pm – 8:00pm in the parish hall.

  • We offer classes for ages 4 to 18.
  • Pre K – Ages 4 and 5 – Students will study the basics of the faith.
  • 1st Grade – Students will study the basics of the faith including a deeper meaning of creation, the Blessed Trinity, Jesus Christ, The Church, morality, and the Sacraments. This class is required prior to receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the second grade.
  • 2nd Grade – Students focus on the Sacrament of Reconciliation and begin preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The students in this class will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Spring of 2016. This class is required before students move on to The Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion.
  • 3rd Grade – Students will focus on the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion.
  • Confirmation for students 10 years to 12 years of age – Students who have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, and Holy Communion and are ten years of age will begin a two year program preparing them to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
  • RCIC – Students who are twelve years of age or older and have not been Baptized or received the Sacraments of Reconciliation of Holy Communion will begin a two year program. The first year of this program will focus on the basics of the faith and the Sacrament of Baptism which they will receive in the Spring of 2017. The second year of this program focuses on the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion. Students will receive both Sacraments in the Spring of 2018.
  • Confirmation for students ranging from ages 13 through 18  – This is a two year program. Students will focus on the basics of the faith in the first year and focus on the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Spring of the second year of this program.
  • Registration Fees for Parishioners – $45.00 for 1 student per family – $80.00 for two students per family – $120.00 for three students per family
  • Registration Fees for non-parishioners – $60.00 per student
  • Baptismal certificates are required at the time of registration.
  • Registration Accepted: through September 29, 2016 – 6:30pm – 8:00pm in the parish hall (Thursday evenings)
  • Please see the events calendar for all the activities the religious education students are involved in throughout the year.
  • All registration fees are re-occurring yearly fees.

Adults

  •  We offer RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation) classes for those wishing to enter into the Catholic faith or renew their faith, Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30pm
